This live-in ministry role supports residents in a men's transitional reentry home—helping individuals move toward stable, accountable, Christ-centered life.
Responsibilities
- Live on-site in a provided room.
- Lead or assist with Bible study, prayer, devotionals, and spiritual encouragement.
- Help enforce house rules, curfews, schedules, chores, and program expectations.
- Transport residents using the ministry vehicle for approved appointments, church services, employment-related needs, and ministry activities.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, respectful, and spiritually supportive home environment.
- Communicate concerns, incidents, emergencies, or rule violations to ministry leadership.
- Encourage residents toward employment, church involvement, accountability, and positive life decisions.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Compensation
Compensation includes live-in housing and a modest ministry stipend. Future compensation may be reviewed as the ministry's resources grow.
Qualifications
Who we are looking for
- Sincere Christian faith and support for the PMoC mission.
- Mature, dependable, compassionate, and able to enforce rules fairly.
- Comfortable leading or assisting with Bible study and spiritual activities.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Willing to live on-site in a provided room.
- Willing to serve with a modest ministry stipend.
- Able to provide live-in leadership and mentorship in a men's transitional reentry home.
- Able to work with individuals transitioning from incarceration.
- Willing to complete a background check and driving record review.
- Able to provide character references.
